It's worse, charge mechanics that dont work 75% of the time that requires you to download framerate limiters just to play against ridiculous reactionary enemies. Players shouldn't need to do all that for a SHORT GAME!
Edit: Not to mention the game breaking bug if you're moving casting a spell AND getting attacked at the same time, deleting your sprite altogether!
I may be late and you may already be aware, but you have to charge the wand to fire it. I've never personally had it fail to shoot that I can remember, just me releasing just a bit too early.
had the same issue. Turns out it has to do something with the framerate. I used Rivatuner Statistics Server to limit it down to 60fps and that fixed all issues I had.
I found a very good solution. Just reduce your monitor's refresh rates from Windows settings and you'll be good to go! It solved every problem I had with the game, and suddenly I was faster.
PLEASE add a save function- bugs that require me to close the game/bugs that straight up crash it are everywhere, and it makes moving through the world so frustrating. add control of the camera- with 3 move speed buffs it becomes impossible to see where im going, making getting hit feel super unfair. and please make enemies drop their loot on hit- more often then not i simply do not care enough to sit through the entire animation after hitting E, it gets old after 5+ repeat playthroughs attempting to actually get anywhere. the sorcerer enemies are also frustrating- the tower gauntlet just spawns 4 of them and its super easy to stagger them so you can never actually shoot. this game is very frustrating.
WARNING: If your monitor is set to a refresh rate other than 60 Hz the character may move slow and fail to shoot most of the time. Before learning this I was much harsher on my feelings towards the game. Changing the monitor to 60 Hz fixed this.
But even then, the game has glitches and crashes, so you may lose all your progress because the game has no ability to save.
Okay so sometimes my wand just does not shoot, no matter how long i charge it, is this something i can fix cause if not then i can not really play this game

Protip: if you're having trouble with shooting very slowly, just reduce your monitor's refresh rate down to 60 Hz

Not running on my computer for some reason...the Godot Engine starts but just stays as a background task forever. Am I just being impatient?

If your monitor is running at something other than 60 Hz try changing it to 60.
oh, yea i am running it at 144hz, thank you
